WOW! It really has been a while - sorry, but not lots of time to post. Just here to confirm rumors that I'm going to Humboldt County to see my bros & parents this weekend! Quick update consists of: Ty & I didn't go on that road trip. Basketball is over & practice will start again any day for the upcoming season. Ty starts 6th grade (GASP!) on Sept. 4th at the middle school. I picked up another two doctors' transcription from the surgery center next door to work & that's going pretty well so far. Speaking of work, they finally hired me an assistant in billing & she's way cool - very smart & has a really great subtle sense of humor & is a good worker, to boot! My friend, Lisa, and I went to see Chicago perform at Britt last night & they were AWESOME! I got to see my childhood best friend for the 1st time in almost 20 years & it was AMAZING! I'm sure there's more, but that's the skinny on the highlights, anyway...Oh - the party: my friend, Becky's, parents have a really great place in Gold Hill & they threw a huge party in honor of her return to OR from So Cal. Live band, open bar, great people, one guy hit on me but never called afterward & a good time was had by all.
